The Getty Center: The worlds largest cultural and philanthropic organization dedicated to visual arts is in your backyard! Built only in 1997 recently had it’s 20th year anniversary. Over a million square feet of building in the Santa Monica Mountains The Getty Center is not just a museum it’s one of the best things to do in LA if you love the arts. They host a wide range of performances including theater as well as live music. You can also take in film and lectures that offer a fully immersive experience with so many different artistic platforms. This place can bring out the artist in you from young to old. Admission is free but you will have to pay $15 per car/motorcycle to park; $10 after 3pm.
